Extra-Curricular Activities

De La Salle School offers various after-school extra-curricular activities for various age levels. Below you will find several of our programs.

LITTLE WHISK  -  Learn about international cuisine while exploring different ingredients and dishes from around the world.  Learn fun facts about each dish, their ingredients, and about the countries we explore.

ACADEMIC CHESS - Academic Chess is devoted to promoting the merits of chess among children using stories, dances, and catchy songs to make the game of chess exciting and easy to understand.

ENCORE MUSICIANS ACADEMY - "Music After School": Students learn the fundamentals of music and keyboard through electronic keyboards. Included are singing rhythm, harmony and note reading.  Electronic keyboards are provided during class.

DRUM CLASS - Drum class is open to students in grades K-8th.  Students learn how to rad music and apply that reading to playing on a snare drum and working as a team together in a drum line.

The De La Salle Swim Team and the Children’s Choir are Parish activities open to all DLS students, as well as children in the Parish.  Therefore, participation in these activities are separate from DLS school extra-curricular programs and are subsequently not subject to the same eligibility requirements.  Please contact the Parish office for more details (818) 363-2535.
