Mr. Chavez - Music Teacher and Choir Director
At St. John Baptist De La Salle School, our Music program provides students in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade with engaging, standards-based instruction that nurtures creativity, confidence, and a deep connection to faith through music.
Led by Mr. Chavez, music classes are held during the school day as part of our elective rotation and play a vital role in preparing students to lead and participate in our liturgical and faith-filled school celebrations.

Extending Learning Beyond the Classroom - After School Choir
As Choir Director, Mr. Chavez extends musical learning beyond the school day by leading our after-school choir program, where interested students further develop vocal technique, harmony, performance skills, and leadership. Choir members regularly support school liturgies and special events, strengthening both musical excellence and school spirit.
